Thought the game was scoreless in the first half and a rather even game, Lake Zurich managed to capitalize on some untimely turnovers and score 3 goals in the second half to win the game. Despite the score, the Eagles played some good soccer and will win their share of games in the season.

The Eagles played well. The team played a much better game in all phases then the game against Lake Zurich. There were chances to score throughout the game and the team defended really well. But in the end Lake Forest got one in with some 12 minutes to go and held on for the win.

The Eagles got their first win of the year playing some stellar team defense and got the goals to seal the victory. Senior Brighton Callaway was the player of the match as she saved a ball off the line on defense and then got the first goal of the season off an assist from freshman Anja Siber. The Eagles got a second goal when senior Sienna Steinke was able to dribble past a couple of defenders and get off a great cross that eluded the goalie and found junior Mia Silber on the back post for the tap in.

The Eagles beat a very good Richmond Burton team, 2-1. The Eagles went up 2-0 by halftime and played some outstanding defense to get the victory. Eagles first goal was scored by senior Emily Mlyniec off a cross from junior Mia Silber with the second goal coming off the foot of freshmen Raina Schmitt from a great slot pass by senior Amanda Dietz.

Lakes lost to Jones College Prep, 3-1. The Eagles played well but didn't capitalize on some chances while the other team did.
