Today was our first official game of the season. Home vs Mundelein. Overall we did very well. Goals were scored by Izzy R.(assisted by Ryan H.) & Brooklyn M. (assisted by Ryan H.) in the first half and in the 2nd half by Macy (assisted by Taylor K.), Taylor K (unassisted), and Brooklyn M. (assisted by ?). We seemed to settle in better in the 2nd half connecting more passes and figuring out how to get it past their very good goalie. Shots from further away were tough due to the field condition being very soft. Our defense did a wonderful job keeping most of the possession on the other half 85% of the game. A BIG shout out goes to Hayleigh W. in goal for earning her first shutout in her first ever game! She also had 2 very good saves and to help keep her shut out in tack. A big thanks to Alex C. for a nice clear in front of the net to help keep the shutout. Overall very happy with how the team played today. Keep up the good work girls!!

Great back to back win for the girls today. Some good ball movement on a cold day! Early penalties from both teams happened that resulted in some PK's. Lakes was able to take advantage of the first with a hand ball in the box. Our PK was taken by Brooklyn M. The 2nd PK was called on Lakes with a push in the box and Waukegan was able to answer. The score at half was a close 3-1advantage Lakes. The two other goals were scored by Emily J. assisted by Izzy R and Brooklyn M. assisted by Taylor K. We came out of halftime with a bit more energy and kept possession most of the half. This resulted in 4 more goals by the Eagles!! Goals by Taylor K, Emily J., and 2 more by Brooklyn M. (1 was a PK on an aggressive play on Mackenzie in the box) which allowed Brooklyn to get the hat trick. A few more close calls on goals for Lavinia and Izzy today as well. Great game girls!

The girls took control of this one from the start with great ball movement and many connecting passes. Many of the girls got into the action today as goals were scored by: Emily J. (2), Aidia N. This marks 3 wins in a row for this team and we hope to continue with the strong play this weekend at the Waukegan Spring Fling Tournament!

Well the girls stepped up BIG today with our first away game and our first conference match up with an 8-0 win vs Grayslake North. Goals were scored by Emily J. (1), Taylor K. (2), Brooklyn M. (1), Izzy R. (2), Ryan H. (1), and Aidia N. (1). Assists were created by Taylor K. (2), Brooklyn M. (1), and Ryan H. (4) which is a new season high for a player in a single game! Another great defensive stance by all who were involved on our back line to help protect Hayleigh W. who recorded her 5th shutout of the season. Way to go girls!! We'll be gearing up for our next conference game at home versus Round Lake on Thursday!

Outstanding control and ball movement in the first half by the girls today!! Nice work. The score was 6-0 at halftime. Many more opportunities were provided for play time for the whole team today. Another fine game by our JV 2 team. Once again good ball movement and more aggressive play by many of the newer players to be more involved once again. Wonderful win by our squad today. The girls did not disappoint by getting even more players involved with goals and assists today. 2 goals scored off headers as well and things just clicked today. We gear up for our last 2 matches of the year vs Grayslake Central and Niles North this week!
