Grades 5-12 (in the fall)
What is Field Hockey?
Field hockey is a mix of soccer, lacrosse and ice hockey. The game consists of two 30 minute halves, with a 10
minute half-time. Eleven players on each team will spend the entirety of the game moving the ball up and down a
100 yard grass field trying to score goals. The team that scores the most goals is considered the winner!
What can I expect to get out of camp?
Basic offensive/defensive skill & strategy
Improved stick skills and ball handling
Shooting technique
Game strategy

All payments are due by Friday, May 18, 2018.
Water, Gatorade, and a Field Hockey Camp T-Shirt will be provided for all participants.

My daughter has my permission to participate in the LCHS summer field hockey camp, Stevenson High School
summer league and summer practices. We will not hold LCHS, School District 117, its employees, agents, board
members and staff responsible in case of illness, accident or injury (including death) to our child participating in this
camp. Further, I/we hereby grant permission to the staff of LCHS Field Hockey Summer Camp to release my child to
emergency medical staff if deemed necessary.
