ACHS/D117 OUTDOOR SPECTATOR PROCEDURES
We just wanted to remind spectators about the procedures for watching contests at the ACHS Stadium, McMillen Field and Tim Osmond Athletic Complex. These have been developed for the safety our officials, athletes and spectators.
ACHS Stadium
We recommend that spectators park in the south end of the parking lot behind the school and walk down the path to the stadium’s west entrances. This is the most direct route to and from your vehicle. If you park in the stadium lot, you need to park in an assigned parking spot and walk around the pond to the west stadium entrances. Individuals going from the bleachers to the stadium lot, will need to walk around the pond to return to their vehicles. Again, for the safety of our athletes and officials, we do not have spectators enter the track/turf area before, during or after a contest.
McMillen Field
Spectator vehicles need to remain on the black top drive way and parking lot. Once parking their vehicle, spectators should use the gravel paths to walk to the field they are going to. Vehicles should not drive on or park on the gravel paths. Again, this is for the safety of all who are at the contests.
Tim Osmond Athletic Complex
Spectators attending ACHS or District 117 contests at Osmond Park need to park in assigned parking spaces in the complex’s parking lot.
Again, these procedures have been developed to help to ensure a safe and positive experience for all who attend or participate at ACHS/District 117 outdoor contests. If there is an issue with a disability, please contact Steve Schoenfelder at 847-838-7630.
Thank you in advance for your help in following these procedures.
